Writing Task 1 - Email Writing

You recently bought an electronic music player for your niece's birthday from a local electronics store. When she opened it, it would not turn on, even after charging it.

Write an email to the store manager in about 150-200 words.

Your email should do the following things:

• State what item you bought and when you bought it.

• Explain exactly what the problem is.

• Tell the manager how you would like them to resolve the issue (e.g., replacement or refund).

Writing Task 2 - Opinion Survey (Employee Health Benefits)

 Your company is planning to improve its employee health benefits package. The management team has a limited budget and has sent out a survey asking employees to choose between two new options.Task: 

Choose the option that you prefer. Why do you prefer your choice? Explain the reasons for your choice.

Write about 150-200 words.

Option A: Add coverage for dental and eye care.

Option B: Add coverage for alternative wellness treatments, such as massage therapy and physical therapy.

Your email should do the following things:

• Provide the details of your booking (date, location, etc.).

• Describe what went wrong with the tour and how the guide behaved.

• Suggest how the company can improve its service for future customers.

Writing Task 2 - Opinion Survey (Childrren's Program)

 Your local community center has received funding to start a new after-school program for children. The city council has narrowed it down to two choices and is surveying residents to make the final decision.Task:  Choose the option that you prefer. Why do you prefer your choice? Explain the reasons for your choice.

Write about 150-200 words.

Option A: A technology workshop focusing on computers and coding.

Option B: An artistic workshop focusing on painting and music.

• Describe the specific pieces of furniture and their current condition.

• Ask to schedule a date and time for their truck to pick up the items.
